North 40 Heads South On Radio Tour

North 40 is headed South this week!

Paige and I are excited to head out on our first radio tour! We will be playing our newly released single and video for “Hey Girl Hey” on radio and television to promote and recruit new North 40 Citizens. We'll be making new friends across Tennessee and Alabama this week!

It’s going be just the two of us with a shaker and guitar hitting the road in my old SUV, otherwise known as “The Mother Load." She’s all cleaned up and purring like a duck so AAA will be on speed dial!

You know, I remember hitting the road when there were no cell phones, just a beat up atlas and all we could get to sing along with was a scratchy AM station with possibly pieces of an old familiar song. A cup full of quarters was like gold to use in payphones at questionable stops to check in every few days to let everyone know you were alive!

My, how things have changed! It’s a love/hate relationship with the reliance on technology that makes us so available and brings this world closer together than ever before. We are loaded up with cords for iPads and phones to get us where we are going on time and with whom we need to talk to.

As North 40 citizens ourselves, lucky to have lived through this transition in technology, concepts, life and landscape, we can’t record every minute of the fun, stress, tears and joyous moments so we just have to share what we can, “Soak it Up” and mark this special event in our career as North 40 on our hearts.
